Part of Adrem Invest, our BRML authorized laboratory has been offering complete metrological verification services for electricity meters for over 15 years, being a reliable partner for distribution operators and companies in the energy sector.

We carry out initial, periodic and post-repair metrological checks for active and reactive electricity meters, complying with the highest standards of accuracy, quality and compliance. The laboratory is authorized to carry out checks for the entire range of meters used on the market, according to the applicable accuracy classes.

Each piece of equipment is digitally tracked throughout the entire operational flow – from receipt and verification, to labeling, sealing, packaging and delivery. Our platform ensures complete traceability and quick access to the history of each meter, giving customers transparency and control over the entire process.

The laboratory has five modern testing stations and a complete logistics infrastructure, which allows for the rapid processing of a high volume of equipment while maintaining a constant level of service quality.

Today we collaborate with all four major electricity distribution operators in Romania and we are constantly developing partnerships at national and international level, confirming the expertise, operational capacity and trust that customers place in our services.

Meter data reading

At the customer's request, the laboratory takes data readings from the meters, stores the information in the database, and provides files ready for upload to the customer's systems.

For all models of active and reactive energy meters available on the Romanian market.

Receiving, sorting, database registration and tracking

The laboratory's database allows real-time access to equipment history.

Test scheduling and data reading

By optical probe, for most types of meters, using the software provided by the manufacturer.

Distribution to customer warehouses

Transport is provided by three IVECO vans, each with a capacity of 3.5 tonnes.

Generating and applying barcode labels

The laboratory generates and applies custom barcode labels for each meter or packaging unit, ensuring correct identification and traceability throughout the verification and logistics flow.

Packaging and labeling for boxes/pallets

After verification, each meter is securely packed with auxiliary equipment, for transport. The database is continuously updated according to the customer's requirements, allowing the generation of customized labels for boxes and pallets.

Generate upload files

The laboratory prepares the delivery documents — approval, quality certificate, warranty certificate, declaration of conformity on behalf of the meter supplier — and generates customized upload files, according to the customer's requirements.

Battery replacement and date/time update

When necessary, we carry out battery replacement and synchronization of the meter's internal clock, for correct time marking and operation according to technical standards.

Equipment management and reporting

According to the requirements of the customer or end beneficiary: delivery history, stocks, entry dates, etc.

Warranty meter management services

They include receiving, tracking, preparing for shipment to the manufacturer and replacing with new meters supplied by the customer for the duration of the contract.

Application of disposable seals

The laboratory applies the disposable seals provided by the customer, manages the stock of seals and transmits files with the seal information and the associated meter series.
