As part of the project implemented for Power Grids, Adrem Invest ensured the installation and commissioning of 641,053 smart meters, contributing to the development of a modern metering and metering data management infrastructure.
The project aimed to move from traditional metering processes to a digital infrastructure based on Smart Metering technologies, capable of allowing the automatic collection, transmission and efficient management of consumption data.
The activities carried out included installation and replacement works of measuring equipment, configuration and verification of smart meters, their commissioning, as well as integration into the communication infrastructure and data management systems used by the distribution operator.
The implemented solution provides improved visibility on electricity consumption, allows the automation of the index collection process, reduces the need for manual interventions and creates the premises for the development of modern services for end users.
Through the Smart Metering infrastructure implemented, the Power Grids benefit from more accurate and available data in a short period of time, supporting the optimization of operational processes, the rapid identification of abnormal situations in the grid and decision-making based on real information in the field.
The project contributes to the digital transformation of electricity grids and to increasing the level of automation in the energy distribution activity, representing an important step towards more efficient, secure grids more adapted to the current requirements of the energy sector.
