For Delgaz Grid, ADREM Invest carried out a complex project to modernize the electricity distribution infrastructure in Izvoru, Ion Creangă commune, Neamt County. The investment aimed to increase the reliability of the network, reduce technical losses and improve the quality of the electricity supply service for consumers in the area.
The project involved both the development of new distribution capacities and the modernization of the existing infrastructure. As part of the works, a new medium voltage overhead power line was built, supported by 11 new poles with cast foundations, as well as the installation of a new overhead transformer substation, sized to meet the current and future consumption requirements of the community.
An important component of the investment consisted in the modernization of the low-voltage network by replacing approximately 6 kilometers of classic twisted-pair conductor conductors. This solution contributes to increasing operational safety, reducing the number of faults and improving the performance of the network in difficult weather conditions. At the same time, 65 new support and extension poles were installed for the low voltage network, strengthening the distribution infrastructure and increasing its resilience.
Within the project, 210 electrical connections were modernized and brought to the property limit, contributing to increasing the safety of the installations and facilitating the access of the distribution operator for operation and maintenance activities. This stage allowed the alignment of the infrastructure to the current technical standards and the improvement of the supply conditions for the consumers served.
The works were carried out in a difficult context, marked by weather conditions specific to the cold season and the restrictions generated by the winter holiday period. For these reasons, the initial execution period of 60 calendar days was extended to 90 days. Despite the challenges encountered, the project was successfully completed, and the modernized infrastructure contributes today to increasing the safety and continuity of electricity supply for the local community.
By implementing this project, Delgaz Grid benefits from a modernized network adapted to current distribution requirements, capable of providing quality services and supporting the future development of the area.
